These are tough times in the oil patch. The price of oil is down, deeply. After reaching highs greater than $100 a barrel in June of 2014, the price has now fallen below $50. But her ability to manage the legal affairs (and more) of this large company during tough times is one reason Texas Lawyer has named her General Counsel of the Year.
