Defendants in a high-profile patent infringement lawsuit filed by Tesco Corp. have asked a federal judge who entered a judgment in their favor to make them “whole” for the costs of the litigation.

“Tesco and its counsel are responsible for every dime in attorney fees and costs defendants have had to spend,” National Oilwell Varco (NOV) and Offshore Energy Services Inc. allege in a motion seeking attorney fees and other costs that stem from litigation in Tesco v. Weatherford International.
