Despite being the top lawyer at one of Texas’ largest firms, Deborah Williamson does not see herself as a role model.

“I am more than willing to talk about my personal experience with people, but I think everybody evolves differently; I was married and already had children when I started here, which is very different from being single with no married experience,” said Williamson, managing director of San Antonio-based Cox Smith Matthews. Williamson became managing director of the 103-lawyer firm in January.
