A negligence and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit filed against Greenberg Traurig, FisherBroyles and Dallas lawyer Russell DePalma will go to arbitration, the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston held in an opinion.

On Sept. 11, a three-judge panel of the Fourteenth Court reversed a trial court’s order denying Greenberg Traurig’s motion to compel arbitration with plaintiffs National American Insurance Co. (NAICO) and Okie Foundation Drilling Co. in a 2013 suit filed in Harris County. The court also reversed the trial court’s order denying NAICO and Okie’s alternative motion to compel arbitration with FisherBroyles and DePalma.
