Stephen Seidel, a former general counsel at Kinetic Concepts Inc. (KCI) of San Antonio, joined Winstead on June 16 as managing shareholder of the San Antonio office.
Seidel has had a varied career in San Antonio: He was managing director of Cox Smith Matthews before moving in 2005 to KCI, where he was executive vice president and general counsel. He later served as global president of KCI’s Therapeutic Support System Business in San Antonio. After he left that job at the end of 2012, he said, he did consulting work.
