In response to last year’s controversy over pro se divorce forms, the next budget for the State Bar of Texas includes funding for fellowships for three new legal-aid family lawyers and for launching a pro bono awareness campaign.

The Texas Supreme Court on May 29 approved the State Bar’s budget, which includes $48.04 million in revenue and $47.99 million in expenditures. It covers June 1, 2013, to May 31, 2014.
