A Dutch man who loaned $4.5 million to two Texas limited partnerships has filed a negligence suit against Houston firm Crain, Caton & James in Harris County’s 11th District Court.

Paul J.A. Van Hessen of The Netherlands alleges that former Crain, Caton shareholder Reuven M. Bisk failed to inform him that Namir Faidi, the man who had guaranteed the loan, had filed for bankruptcy shortly before Van Hessen issued the loan.
