Jury sides with defendant in lane-change crash

On Nov. 2, 2011, a jury declined to award damages to a woman who claimed cervical and lumbar strains in a sideswipe crash. In 2008, Luisa Grissom was driving on the Route 820 service road in Arlington when she was involved in a collision with a vehicle driven by Leiu Thi Manges. She claimed that Manges made an unsafe lane change and sideswiped her. Manges argued that Grissom was moving into her lane at the time of the collision.
