One lawyer resigned his license in lieu of discipline, a Harris County lawyer was disbarred, and a Dallas County lawyer was suspended until March 5, 2013, the State Bar of Texas reported recently. The disbarred lawyer was cited for alleged violations of five rules, including the one requiring a lawyer to protect an ex-client's interests after termination of representation. He also was ordered to pay $670 in fees and direct expenses to the State Bar.
