What You Need to Know

Since the March 30 admission by AT&T of a major data breach, at least 10 class actions lawsuits have been filed in Texas.
Law firms from Texas, seven other states and the District of Columbia are seeking a nationwide class certification.
The complaints allege AT&T should have known and given notice as far back as 2021 that its sensitive data had been hacked.

Several Texas-based law firms are acting as local counsel in collaboration with attorneys from seven other states and the District of Columbia, bringing data breach class action lawsuits against AT&T Inc.

At least 10 lawsuits have been filed within the past few days in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas-Dallas Division.
