The trial in a case against an anesthesiologist in a viral video of two doctors dancing while performing surgery began on Wednesday in the State Court of Fulton County. The question for the jury: is filming a video and dancing while performing surgery simply a case of bad bedside manner or is it a breach of standard of care?
The plaintiff, Latoya Rideau, represented by Susan Witt of the Witt Law Group, Darren Summerville and former state Sen. Jen Jordan of The Summerville Firm and Chloe Dallaire of the Hornsby Law Group, alleges that the video was made without her knowledge or consent and its proliferation left her emotionally scarred.
