Clifford Chance, which launched an office in Houston earlier this month, continues to fill out its roster of lawyers working in the energy and infrastructure sector, adding partners from Jones Day and Kirkland & Ellis as part of the initial staffing of the global firm’s Texas expansion.

The firm announced on Monday that Jones Day energy and infrastructure partner Alexandra Wilde and Kirkland & Ellis M&A partner Enoch Varner have moved to the firm. They join former Latham & Watkins partners Jonathan Castelan and Trevor Lavelle who are already on board. Three Clifford Chance partners are relocating to the new office, and three more Big Law lateral hires in the initial 10-lawyer group are expected to join soon.
