There were no disbarments in the April attorney disciplinary report of the State Bar of Texas, but a San Patricio County attorney resigned in lieu of discipline and a Houston attorney was given a five-year active suspension.

David Sibley of Gregory resigned from practice while four grievances were pending, alleging he neglected client matters, failed to keep clients reasonably informed, and for violating other laws of the state relating to the professional conduct of lawyers and the practice of law. The Texas Supreme Court accepted the resignation Feb. 15.
