With Republicans in control of the House, and Democrats gaining a subpoena-issuing majority in the Senate, a whirlwind of investigations is expected in the 118th Congress. 

“I think we know some of the likely targets, but I’m sure there will be others who aren’t on anybody’s radar yet,” said former senior House leadership staffer and current Hogan Lovells congressional investigations partner Aaron Cutler.
