"'Don’t let the urgent get in the way of the truly important' — that’s the advice I wish I had received earlier in my career," she said. "As lawyers, we are trained to focus exclusively on our legal skills. While those are certainly critical, there are many others that are necessary to succeed long term in the practice law."
