Houston plaintiffs firm Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner has sued a former associate, alleging he solicited clients and copied files in preparation for a move to another firm, and then after he left, continued to use confidential client contact information.

In a petition filed on Monday in Texas district court in Harris County, Abraham Watkins additionally alleges that since former associate Edward Festeryga was fired in September, he has made “disparaging and untrue remarks” about the firm, and claimed that he was “stiffed” on compensation owed to him.
