Fannie Mae sued the guarantors on a $23.3 million loan Tuesday in Texas Southern District Court. The court action, brought by Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, seeks over $12.5 million from Nelson Brothers Professional Real Estate, Brian Nelson and Patrick Nelson as a result of the borrower’s default and 2021 bankruptcy filing. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 4:22-cv-03901, Fannie Mae v. Nelson Brothers Professional Real Estate, LLC et al.
