The Tennessee Supreme Court retroactively suspended an attorney for five years this month for reciprocal discipline stemming from “severe and widespread” neglect of client matters in North Carolina.

Sir Ashley James Harrison, who maintained a law office Charlotte, North Carolina, was suspended from practicing law for five years on March 4 by the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. The Tennessee board filed a petition after learning that the North Carolina State Bar entered an order in 2015 suspending his license to practice law for five years.
