In perhaps the most eyebrow-raising judicial race in Texas, a Travis County district judge in office for 14 months is trying to take the seat of a fellow judge.

The 353rd District judge, Madeleine Connor, who remains listed with the Texas Judicial Branch as a vexatious litigant, is challenging 419th District Judge Catherine Mauzy in the Democratic primary.
