Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons has elected Houston partner Zandra Foley to its management committee, the first person of color and first black woman in that role, in another example of firms’ focus on succession planning, considering diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and youth for top leadership.

Foley has served in numerous management roles at the firm and is currently chair of the products liability section and a member of other governing committees including the associates committee, the partner evaluation committee and the diversity and inclusion committee.
