A Louisiana attorney who played a role in destroying a 171-year-old Dallas educational institution was one of three attorneys to resign in lieu of disciplinary action, according to the February report of the State Bar of Texas.

The Texas Supreme Court on Dec. 7, 2021, accepted the resignation of Richard Louis Reynolds of Mandeville, Louisiana. The pending disciplinary case was a result of his May 28, 2020, guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
