After an 11-month suspension, a bribery scandal has concluded with former Paulding County District Attorney Donald Richard Donovan being stripped of his job title and his ability to practice law.
Paulding County Superior Court Senior Judge J. Stephen Schuster sentenced Donovan to 12 months’ probation under the First Offenders Act, after Donovan pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of unprofessional conduct by engaging in malpractice, misfeasance, or malfeasance in office.
