A Harris County judge has dismissed a $1 million legal malpractice suit that a technology accelerator filed against Jackson Walker and a lawyer in Houston that alleged a conflict of interest.

On Aug. 17, 61st District Judge Fredericka Phillips granted a request from plaintiff Defense Energy Center of Excellence, a nonprofit in Texas that does business as National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), and a related company in South Carolina, to dismiss their claims against the firm and senior counsel Jennifer Bryant of Houston.
