Women and attorneys of color are underrepresented at Dallas firms at most levels compared with national statistics, and they are also unlikely to be among the highest-paid partners, a diversity report conducted by several Dallas bar associations finds.

The 2020 Firm Diversity Survey Report, an initiative of the Dallas Bar Association’s Equity Committee, sought to gauge diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in Dallas firms, a project undertaken at a time when diversity and racial equality have become more of a focus of the legal industry.
