A group of 10 former federal judges–two from Texas–on Tuesday urged the Senate and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, not to confirm a new U.S. Supreme Court justice before the 2020 presidential election is settled, saying the move would undermine public trust in the court.
