Mark Jones, a former partner in Burleson in Houston, has joined BakerHostetler’s Houston office as a partner along with former Burleson associates Allison Jones and Jason Smith.
Mark Jones said he was approached by a number of large firms in Houston after energy firm Burleson announced in November it would close at the end of 2015, but BakerHostetler was the best fit for his corporate practice and energy industry clients. He is a partner in BakerHostetler’s business and corporate group and on the firm’s 80-lawyer energy team.
