If “love won” last week in the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex marriage, Texas clerks aren’t exactly feeling it for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Gov. Greg Abbott.

According to emails obtained by Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Bud Kennedy, Texas clerks feel a little burned by Gov. Abbott and AG Paxton, who encouraged clerks to refuse to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples if doing so offended their religious sensibilities.
