A Montgomery County woman sued Corpus Christi lawyer Stephen Paul Carrigan and his firm, alleging that the defendants were negligent and “lost” a lawsuit she filed against a nursing home in Conroe in connection with an injury on the job.

Among several things, plaintiff Daysi Castillo alleges that Carrigan failed to timely file a required expert report and that he initiated settlement negotiations without her authorization, and she alleges that neither Carrigan nor the firm ever explained to her what happened with the lawsuit.
