A Texas jail inmate pleaded guilty on Jan. 28 to one count of mailing a threatening communication to U.S. District Judge David Hittner of the Southern District of Texas.

George Yarbrough, formerly of Houston, admitted as part of his plea to sending a communication on Sept. 26, 2014, threatening to kill the judge, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.
