Joseph Dilg, a former managing partner of Vinson & Elkins who practiced at the firm for 38 years, has joined investment bank Greenhill & Co. as a vice chairman in Houston after retiring from V&E at the end of 2014.
Dilg, managing partner of Houston-based V&E from 2002 through 2011, said he notified partners in V&E a year ago that he intended to retire from the practice of law at the end of 2014 to do something on the business side and to devote time to nonprofit work.
