Good morning and welcome to Supreme Court Brief. The justices are back on the bench this morning, and later in the afternoon Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. will begin his impeachment trial duties in earnest. The justices have two cases on the argument docket today—including one about international arbitration, which we spotlight below. Plus: the court won’t allow Louisiana to supplement the record in the term’s abortion clinic case, and the justices have some post-argument questions in the age-discrimination case the court heard last week. Headlines: Paul Clement made an appearance in the NYT’s facial recognition piece over the weekend.
