David L. Markel of Gerson & Schwartz in Miami won a $2.18 million negligent security verdict against Mark S. Grunberg, owner of TBLM Inc., doing business as The Bottom Line, a former LGBT nightclub in Lee County.

Markel’s client, John Kenneth Anderson, sued The Bottom Line after 19-year-old clubber Amando Hernandez attacked him in 2013, leaving him with serious brain injuries.
