A frequent filer of check-collection suits who used a computer to endorse signatures on agreements was correctly found to have perpetrated a fraud on the court and was properly sanctioned $44,000 in counsel fees, the New Jersey Appellate Division ruled Monday.

The three-judge panel in Triffin v. Automatic Data Processing Inc. said Essex County Superior Court Judge Donald Goldman had found by “clear and convincing evidence” that Robert Triffin had committed fraud and it saw no reason to disturb his finding.
