GlobalSoft Digital Solutions, based in Mahwah, has been purchased by a Las Vegas-based printing company, it was announced Dec. 8. Creel Printing has plans to expand its footprint to the East Coast as well as internationally, with Global Soft International, GSDS’s Pusignan, France, subsidiary. GSDS will be merged with Creel’s digital division, Digital Lizard, creating an “industry powerhouse,” according to Creel.

Morristown Health Care Company Buys Pair of Out-of-State Firms

Capsugel, a Morristown-based capsule technology company, has purchased two companies to support its offerings. One company, Xcelience, based in Tampa, Florida, offers services enabling companies to partner with a contract development and manufacturing organization for clinical outsourcing. And Powdersize, based in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, is a contract manufacturer specializing in particle-size reduction and control technologies. Both Xcelience and Powdersize will become part of Capsugel’s Dosage Form Solutions business unit, a press release said.
