The Kislak Co., a Woodbridge-based real estate firm, announced the sale of two multi-family properties in Monmouth County for $10.8 million. The transactions include the $7.7 million sale of West End Gardens, a 56-unit garden apartment complex located in Long Branch, and the $3.1 million sale of Parkview Terrace, a six-story, 26-unit high-rise located on Park Avenue in Asbury Park. Daniel Lanni, vice president, represented all parties in the transactions. “The Monmouth County multifamily sales market is very active,” Lanni said in a prepared statement.

Salem Memorial Hospital Sold to Calif.-based Prime Healthcare

A California-based health-care firm, Prime Healthcare Foundation, has bought the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. The sale was announced on Dec. 1. The deal, expected to close by mid-2016, means the hospital would revert to non-profit status. The hospital is currently owned by Tennessee-based company Community Health Systems, a for-profit company. Prime Healthcare is a national hospital system with 38 acute care hospitals, which provides nearly 40,000 jobs in 11 states. Details of the sale were not disclosed.
