Chicago-based Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney elects Dwight Kern to equity partner. He is resident in the firm’s Jersey City office. Kern represents numerous local and national clients, both directly and through insurance coverage, in products liability, toxic tort, environmental, construction and premises liability matters. He has experience in all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Partners/Associates

Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis in Woodbridge brings on board two new partners and three new associates. Lydia Stefanowicz is a partner in the firm’s real estate department who concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial lending and real estate. She represents both lenders and borrowers in real estate acquisition, construction, permanent mortgage and mezzanine financings, and has significant experience in real estate workouts and debt restructuring transactions. She was previously with Edwards Wildman Palmer in Morristown. Matthew Schiller is also a partner in the firm’s real estate department, who concentrates his practice in commercial real estate law. His work encompasses a wide range of commercial real estate transactional and litigation matters throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. He was previously with K&L Gates in Newark. Peter Phillips is an associate in the firm’s corporate department, who assists in the representation of clients in connection with business mergers and acquisitions, the formation of corporate entities, joint ventures, intellectual property matters and other corporate transactions. He was previously with Wilkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City. Barry Sobel is an associate in the firm’s family law department, who has experience in complex commercial litigation, business and shareholder disputes, employment law issues and general equity matters, as well as personal injury litigation and white-collar criminal investigations. He was previously with Wolff & Samson (now Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi) in West Orange. Richard Tracy is an associate in the firm’s litigation department, focuses his practice in the area of community association law, assisting in the firm’s representation of common interest community associations, condominiums and cooperatives. He was previously with Abdy & Kane in Totowa.
