The family of an infant who sustained a brain injury because of labor complications settled its Essex County suit for $7 million in Jones v. Tkach-Chubay.
In November 2011, Sue Jones went to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, for delivery of the baby, which was breech, according to the plaintiffs’ attorney, Scott Parsons of O’Connor Parsons & Lane in Westfield, New Jersey.
