ESTATE OF HUI LU, a/k/a HUI HUA LU, Deceased (20-1395/A/B/C) — The petition by the Administrator of the Estate of Hui Lu to modify the restrictions on her Letters to allow her to collect and distribute proceeds from the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (“the VCF”) on account of decedent’s personal injuries and wrongful death and to judicially settle her account with respect to those proceeds is granted. The restrictions contained in the Letters issued to the Administrator are modified, and the Administrator is authorized to collect and distribute the proceeds and to execute the necessary receipts and releases. The award proceeds are allocated as requested in the petition and in accordance with the VCF Award Detail. The fees of petitioner’s attorney are fixed and determined as set forth in the decree. The Administrator is authorized to pay herself the sum of $10,895.00 as reimbursement for decedent’s funeral expenses. The balance of the award proceeds shall be distributed to decedent’s issue as set forth in the decree. The account is settled, and the decree is signed. Dated: October 23, 2023
