2020-883 K C.      DORFMAN v. THE GARFIELD GARAGE — Appeal from a judgment of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County (Consuelo Mallafre Melendez, J.), entered January 30, 2020. The judgment, after a nonjury trial, awarded plaintiff the principal sum of $2,566.59. ORDERED that the judgment is affirmed, without costs. Plaintiff commenced this small claims action to recover the principal sum of $5,000 for damage to his vehicle during occasions it was parked in defendant’s valet garage. Following a nonjury trial, the Civil Court awarded plaintiff the principal sum of $2,566.59.
