The extent of political corruption among Albany’s fallen political leaders will play out in another Lower Manhattan courtroom Monday as prosecutors and defense lawyers pick a jury in the trial of former Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos and his son, Adam.

Southern District Judge Kimba Wood is guiding selection of the jury that will decide whether to convict or acquit on charges that Dean Skelos used his official position to secure some $220,000 in bribes, gratuities and extortion payments for his son.
