An attorney who made almost $1 million a year but failed to pay state income taxes for six years has pleaded guilty to tax fraud, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Jeffrey Galloway, 61, failed to file state personal income tax returns and pay his taxes from 2005 to 2010 while a partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, the D.A.’s office said.
