Plaintiffs in employment suits might suspect their former bosses are hiding documents in discovery, but they can’t always prove it. Charles Wisch, who represents a fired Foley & Lardner legal secretary, thinks he can.

Wisch’s client, Hideko Shiroyama, took more than 800 pages of Foley files when the firm fired her last year. Judging from those documents, Wisch thinks he has a road map to find documents Foley still has that will help his client in her age discrimination case against the firm. Foley, however, has refused to turn those documents over in discovery, Wisch said.
