Seymour Lazar, the Palm Springs, Calif., lawyer who was indicted in 2005 in the Milberg Weiss probe, has been sentenced to two years' probation that includes six months of home detention. Lazar, who served as a lead plaintiff in several Milberg Weiss cases from 1976 to 2004, pleaded guilty in October to charges of filing false tax returns, obstruction of justice and false statements.
