declaring a mistrial, a Kentucky trial judge has thrown out a jury's May 9 award of $9.5 million to a family forced to sell 80 acres of farmland to an airport developer. When the Kenton County Airport Board needed land for the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport, it offered the family $33,476 per acre, which they rejected. The board sued to take the land by eminent domain. The jury awarded the Conners $101,249 per acre plus $1.4 million for the decrease in value to their remaining 25 acres. F
