President Donald Trump’s March 6 executive order restricting immigration from six Muslim-majority countries goes into effect at midnight Thursday, but federal judges in Hawaii and Maryland will hear arguments against it in the hours leading up to implementation.

Meanwhile, several other courts around the country have been asked to block the order, which is limited in scope from a similar order issued in January, in some form or another. Those hearings are slated to occur in the days following the ban’s implementation.
