Maia Magee does care a fig. Especially when it comes to the secret recipe for her popular Dalmatia fig jam.
Magee and Dalmatia sued a distributor last year who allegedly sold counterfeit Dalmatia jam and a competing product based on her recipe. She ended up Feb. 24 with what her law firm says is the first jury verdict under the 2016 Defend Trade Secrets Act.
