Dallas trial lawyer Rachel Lindsay, a daughter of U.S. District Judge Sam Lindsay of Dallas, will soon look for love and a husband as the “bachelorette” on the ABC reality program “The Bachelorette.”

Rachel Lindsay, an associate at Cooper & Scully, currently appears as one of the women vying for the affections of Nick Viall on “The Bachelor.” But last week, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Jimmy Kimmel announced that Lindsay will be the bachelorette for the season that will air beginning May 22, which means she will leave Viall’s show. Lindsay is the first African-American woman selected as the bachelorette for the long-running series.
