The U.S. Labor Department as expected filed a notice Thursday with the Office of Management and Budget to delay implementation of the Obama administration’s controversial retirement-savings rule.

OMB reviews generally take from 10 to 14 days to review a proposed rule. After a proposal is approved, the Labor Department would send the notice to the Federal Register for publication—generally within one day.
