On Sept. 27, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit will hear arguments in a case about the Clean Power Plan.

This plan is the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s road map for reducing carbon dioxide emissions from the nation’s power plants — the biggest source of carbon dioxide emissions in the U.S. In fact, our power sector emits one out of every 17 tons of carbon dioxide emitted anywhere in the world.
