As the days dwindle down to the few remaining decisions, it is nail-biting time for some U.S. Supreme Court advocates.

Five cases remain in the “undecided” category, including the term the potential blockbuster same-sex marriage. The court on Thursday decided the latest assault on the federal health care law, siding with the Obama administration. But even if the other cases fall short of stratospheric status, each has significant implications for its area of the law.
